Becker Mining replaces manual processes, benefits from greater collaboration

Becker Mining Systems faced interrupted information flow, poor version control, and heavy reliance on manual paper-based processes that made collaboration difficult. The company turned to Hyland and its OnBase content management solution to improve document access and support digital workflow across its operations.

Hyland worked with Becker Mining Systems to implement OnBase as a web-based system for scanning, storing, and accessing both paper and digital documents. The rollout began in July 2012, and within a few months the first phase was complete, with staff filing new documentation into OnBase and older records migrated as well. The result was greater collaboration, improved mobility for users worldwide, and a major reduction in filing cabinets and manual handling.
