BBVA needed a scalable way to unify global document management across multiple countries and legacy systems while supporting heavy workloads, fast search, and workflow automation. To address this challenge, BBVA used Hyland Nuxeo to manage documents in a flexible, high-performance environment.

Hyland implemented Nuxeo in a private cloud with rapid public-cloud backup capability, helping BBVA serve several countries from two regions and tailor deployments by country. The result was a more structured document migration and organization process, with robust microservices-based architecture, improved speed and performance under large volumes, and stronger accessibility and backup across primary, legacy, cloud, and cold storage systems.
