Cycle is a Bogotá-based startup building smart-grid and renewable energy solutions that enable isolated communities to trade surplus electricity. Facing the typical startup need for structured processes and reliable project management, Cycle chose the vendor Hygger (Hygger.io) to give them a lightweight yet powerful toolset to manage sprints, prioritize work, and track time across their machine-learning, blockchain, and electronics projects.

Using Hygger, Cycle relies on the Backlog board, time logs, and a Roadmap to move tasks from planning into development, apply the Pomodoro Technique for focused work, and use the critical path method to prioritize and avoid schedule slips. Hygger’s features have given Cycle clearer task organization, accurate time tracking per activity, and better prioritization—improving performance versus prior tools like Wrike and Trello and helping prevent time-frame problems.
