A Hygger Case Study
FoodMaven, an online marketplace that rescues and sells oversupplied and out-of-spec food to restaurants and institutions, needed a way to coordinate one team working across two products while advancing its mission to reduce food waste. After using Pivotal Tracker and Aha! in the past, FoodMaven adopted Hygger to support a Kanban-based approach and to manage roadmaps, linked product features, sprint work, and prioritization across product and development teams.
Hygger was implemented across FoodMaven’s product development cycle: a roadmap board linked to individual product boards, tasks pushed into a single sprint board with swimlanes per product, and use of sprint boards, story pointing, velocity reports, a value-vs-effort matrix and GitHub integration. Hygger unified information in one place, replaced disparate tools, improved planning and predictability of future sprints, and made prioritization and cross-team collaboration simpler and more efficient.
