RDA Systems, Inc., a provider of ERP software for local governments and K-12 school districts, needed to modernize its IT environment while migrating to Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The company wanted to improve disaster recovery, simplify a complex homegrown backup process, and maintain secure, reliable access to customer data. HYCU’s purpose-built backup and recovery for Nutanix was evaluated as part of the project.

With Redapt’s help, RDA Systems chose HYCU for its native GCP support, simpler deployment, and better backup and restore performance. HYCU enabled faster setup, easier configuration, and quicker backups and restores for more than 23TB of data, while reducing the time and effort needed to manage DR operations. As a result, RDA Systems was able to offer its own DR service confidently, even providing a 90-day free trial that received strong customer interest.
