MRS Groupe, a French collective catering company serving corporate offices, cafeterias, hospitals, and restaurants across France, needed a faster, easier backup and recovery approach to support its growing Nutanix-based environment. With only two people on the IT team, the company was struggling with overnight backups that ran into the next workday and wanted a solution that could better support its critical applications and data. It evaluated several options before choosing HYCU, a purpose-built backup and recovery solution for Nutanix.

HYCU implemented bi-directional backups between MRS Groupe’s headquarters and data center for about 80 Windows servers, including full, incremental, and ROBO backups. The results were dramatic: file server backup windows dropped from 36 hours to just 2 hours, and restores from snapshots took only minutes. MRS Groupe also praised HYCU for its simplicity, fast deployment, and responsive support.
