Rentons Labels, a rapidly growing label printer in New South Wales, Australia, needed to keep up with business growth after adding a new HP Indigo press and launching value-added services like security labels. To support this expansion and do more with existing resources, Rentons Labels chose Hybrid Software’s PACKZ prepress software, a native PDF tool designed for labels and packaging.

Hybrid Software implemented PACKZ to streamline prepress production, reducing setup and production time through features like white underprint automation, step and repeat, imposition, and Live Objects for proof sheets. The results included faster speed to market, improved accuracy, and less room for error; Hybrid Software and Rentons Labels are also working toward further reductions through integration with the PRINT IQ MIS system.
