GP Hummingbird, a Georgia-Pacific digital corrugated packaging provider in the USA/Canada, needed a more flexible way to handle highly customized pre-press work, variable box structures, and complex approvals across different converters. Its manual workflow for artwork, imposition, and structural changes was time-consuming and prone to errors, so it turned to Hybrid Software’s PACKZ and CLOUDFLOW to support its growing digital packaging business.

Hybrid Software implemented a centralized, automated workflow that standardized file cleanup, preflighting, trapping, step-and-repeat, and online proofing, while linking directly to order processing and press upload. The result was a faster, more consistent process that reduced graphics preparation time by about two-thirds, cut manual touchpoints and mistakes, and allowed one person to handle the work of two to three people with traditional tools.
