4Packaging, a leading gravure and embossing tool manufacturer with operations in Germany and South Africa, needed a faster, more connected prepress workflow to link its in-house 4POS MIS/ERP with production. With high daily volumes of more than 140 gravure cylinders and 4 embossing forms, the company turned to Hybrid Software and its PACKZ and CLOUDFLOW solutions to improve efficiency and reduce manual handling.

Hybrid Software implemented a PDF-based workflow using PACKZ, CLOUDFLOW, and the Packzflow option, enabling seamless job-ticket-driven automation, faster file preparation, and fewer conversion errors. As a result, 4Packaging achieved a higher level of automation, a lower error rate, and better use of skilled operators on complex tasks, while its IT team began building additional custom solutions through the CLOUDFLOW API after just a few weeks of training.
