Akbank AG, a German bank specializing in retail and corporate banking, sought to digitally transform its operations by moving away from paper-based processes. The challenge involved creating automated, searchable archives for all business documents and integrating automatic storage and retrieval using existing tools. To address this, the bank partnered with vendor Hyarchis to implement its document management solution.

Hyarchis implemented a customized Document Management system that provided user-friendly search capabilities and ease of customization. The solution resulted in more efficient business processes and a central, paperless system for all customer data. Key achievements included the successful migration of 500,000 documents and 1 terabyte of customer data, providing the bank with dynamic import and export capabilities.
