Omega Network Solutions, a Toronto-based IT services provider, partnered with Huntress to strengthen security for its clients amid increasingly sophisticated attacks, user-driven risk, and growing pressure to meet cyber insurance requirements. During a trial of Huntress Managed EDR and Managed ITDR, the team tested it on less secure customers and saw the need for better threat detection and remediation without hiring expensive in-house security specialists.

With Huntress, Omega Network Solutions was able to uncover leftover ransomware footholds that had remained on workstations after cleanup and remediate them quickly. Huntress also isolated a client computer overnight when malware was found harvesting credentials, stopping further damage and enabling the team to fix the issue before noon the next day. The result was faster response, easier remediation for staff, and stronger protection without needing to build a full internal security operations team.
