Piezoni’s Differentiates From Others with Fresh Ingredients and an Integrated POS Solution

Piezoni’s is a 20-restaurant pizza, sandwich and pasta chain in Rhode Island and Massachusetts that built its reputation on fresh, all‑natural ingredients. Facing the twin challenges of staying distinct from national pizza chains and keeping up with technology trends like online ordering and loyalty programs, Piezoni’s turned to HungerRush and its integrated POS system (including built‑in online ordering and loyalty features) to protect the brand while modernizing operations.

HungerRush implemented its POS‑integrated online ordering and mobile apps along with the HungerRush loyalty program across Piezoni’s channels. The change cut incoming phone lines (from as many as five down to three or two in some stores), reduced labor costs, and increased average check size by $3.50 versus phone orders. Loyalty adoption rose to over 45%, loyalty members visit about four times per month versus slightly less than twice for non‑members, and rewards became the primary source of coupon redemption — helping Piezoni’s maintain upward sales growth.
