Flyers Pizza, a family-owned Ohio pizza delivery and takeout chain founded in 1976, needed a modern point-of-sale and online ordering solution to support expansion and engage customers. Their previous POS and online platform felt “archaic,” so Flyers selected HungerRush and its Point of Sale/SaaS suite to deliver a more interactive online ordering experience.
HungerRush implemented its POS along with the HungerRush online ordering platform, Honeycomb loyalty service, and R‑Enterprise remote management across new and existing locations. After deploying HungerRush beginning with an eighth store in March 2017 and converting two more locations that year, Flyers climbed from #8 to #6 on the Pizza Today Top 100, saw overall sales rise 10.6%, and lifted online sales in those locations from under 20% to over 30% of weekly volume, with an expected 30% online-sales increase by 2019.
