Sweetwater deploys HUMAN to significantly reduce fraudulent orders

Sweetwater, the U.S. music retail leader and creator of the world’s first music retail website, needed help as rapid growth made it a larger target for malicious actors, bot attacks, and fraudulent orders. The company was losing money to administrative work and inventory loss, and it needed a bot management solution to protect the customer experience. Sweetwater turned to HUMAN for support with fraud and bot protection.

HUMAN implemented its Human Defense Platform to provide behavioral bot detection, machine learning-based protection, attack visibility in the HUMAN Portal, and seamless integrations with Fastly and Auth0. The result was a reduction in bad bot traffic and fraudulent activity, improved team efficiency, and better protection of Sweetwater’s reputation and bottom line. HUMAN also helped Sweetwater respond quickly when login attacks increased after an authentication change, and the solution was designed to keep adapting to new threats.
