United Nations advances inclusive innovation with Human at a landmark 2017 UN convening

The United Nations faced the challenge of interrogating the role of innovation in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, questioning whether technological advancement would solve global crises or drive further inequality. They partnered with HUMAN to create a documentary film that would frame innovation as a global equity issue and shift the conversation from pure technological capability to ethical responsibility.

HUMAN produced the film "Innovation For All," which blended inside-access footage from a UN convening with interviews from a diverse set of global leaders. The solution was used as a strategic diplomatic tool and premiered at the UN, sparking a global dialogue and helping to reposition innovation not as neutral progress but as a choice with moral consequences. HUMAN's work catalyzed cross-sector engagement and brought together political leaders, civil society, and private-sector actors around a shared framework for inclusive innovation.
