A Hughes Marino Case Study
The Melvin Garb Hillel Center required the construction of a new, sustainable student center, which involved demolishing existing structures and managing a complex ground-up project. Hughes Marino was engaged to provide comprehensive program, project, and construction management services to oversee this challenge.
Hughes Marino managed the entire process, from securing the site development permit to coordinating the bidding, construction, and move-in phases. Their solution included vendor selection, budget and schedule monitoring, and change order negotiations. The result was a successful 10,500-square-foot, LEED Gold-certified facility featuring a photovoltaic array, completed for a contract amount of $3.8 million.
