Mahomet-Seymour coach Chad Benedict had used Hudl for five seasons, but the team was still relying on student taggers to break down games. That made it harder to trust the data and to quickly turn film into usable scouting, teaching, and stats.
After Mahomet-Seymour switched to Hudl Assist, Benedict said the advanced reports and shot charts gave him more reliable information and made in-game adjustments easier. He used Hudl to isolate plays, build individual highlights in about 20 minutes, and prepare opponents’ tendencies and shooting areas, helping the Bulldogs capture their sectional title.
