Shiocton High School’s women’s basketball team faced a fast slide early in the season when a spike in turnovers sank their first three games. Head coach Rob Hendrickson turned to Hudl (using Hudl’s advanced reports/Hudl Assist) to diagnose the problem and find correctable mistakes in how players were passing, stopping and shooting.

Hudl’s advanced reports let Hendrickson filter every turnover with a single click, create a highlight reel for practice, and use shot charts to tailor shooting drills. After implementing the changes Hudl helped identify—new rules like jump-stopping on passes and targeted shooting work—turnovers fell from about 27 in the first three games to 17 in the next game, sparking a six-game winning streak and a run to the regional championship. Hudl’s tools also streamlined analysis so adjustments could be made quickly and measurably.
