Receiver Pulling Double Duty to Supply Stats to State Champs

Millard North High School in Omaha tapped senior receiver Jacob Morrow to bridge on-field play and behind-the-scenes analysis: the Mustangs wanted deeper opponent tendencies and a way to develop Morrow’s interest in statistics. The program already used Hudl for game video breakdown, and coaches challenged Morrow to combine film work with stats to produce actionable scouting information for the staff.

Using Hudl’s video tools and Reports feature, Morrow tagged plays, tracked formations and compiled percentage-based reports for each opponent, giving coaches clear tendencies to use in scout-team preparation. Hudl made it easy to break games down piece by piece and produce clean, usable reports; coaches praised the added detail and accuracy, citing improved scout reps and more informed game planning from Morrow’s Hudl-driven analysis.
