New York Soccer Club, a rapidly growing youth program led by Director of Coaching Christian Gonzalez, needed a way to scale a unified, European-style curriculum and ensure consistent coaching across age groups. While the club already used insidesoccer.com for lesson planning, they faced ad hoc, time-consuming video review that limited how often coaches and scouts could analyze matches — so they turned to Hudl’s video analysis tools to standardize match review and development across the club.

Hudl was rolled out club-wide for coordinated filming, easier post-game clipping, and sharing with players and the U.S. Development Academy via Hudl’s League Exchange, letting coaches watch many more games from the office and DA scouts view players without traveling. The result: faster, more frequent feedback that accelerates player decision-making and development, supports consistent implementation of NYSC’s playing philosophy, and contributes to the club’s on-field success — including producing 18 youth national team call-ups and the U17 team’s historic repeat as national champions.
