Lacrosse Coach Sees Improvement in First Year Using Hudl

Jake Murphy, head lacrosse coach at Haslett/Williamston High School, was looking for a better way to handle game video. Before Hudl, he relied on a parent to record games and send a single DVD copy, which meant only he could watch film and the setup was hard to manage.

After moving to Hudl, Murphy could upload video from an iOS device and use stats to find specific parts of games. He used Hudl video to teach players where to improve, and the team quickly bought in, with players asking when film would be posted and even the JV watching video to learn the varsity system. Murphy also said Hudl helped him review games more clearly, correct mistakes he might have missed, and build more trust with his players.
