Hudl Boosts Sandringham to a Premiership

The Sandringham Dragons, who get only about six hours of team training each week (three two-hour sessions), needed a way to extend coaching time without adding meetings. They turned to Hudl’s video and feedback platform to deliver instruction and strategy to players off the field, using clips and coach notes to compensate for limited practice time.

Hudl enabled coaches to send position-specific video and commentary for players to watch Monday and Tuesday, cutting down lengthy in-person meetings and allowing practice time to be more productive. The streamlined workflow improved player preparation and coach communication, and Hudl’s platform played a key role in the Dragons’ on-field development and their 2016 Premiership success.
