Long Beach High School’s lacrosse program, led by head coach Jason Pearl, was spending valuable practice time on video review and other off-task items. Pearl had been meeting coaches to trade DVDs, then driving home to watch film, write notes, and show the video to players, which cut into on-field time.

By integrating Hudl into his routine, Pearl moved video analysis into a simpler workflow for Hudl coaching and performance analysis. He said he could cut 15-20 minutes of practice time spent on game review, get players moving sooner, and keep them focused, while also using Hudl to message athletes after practice and give feedback right away. Pearl said that between the Hudl app and website, his players watched 13 hours of film in a week.
