Varnish Software, the company behind the Varnish Cache HTTP accelerator used by millions of websites, faced the classic startup challenge of global demand but limited marketing resources. With minimal content and few conversion paths beyond a contact form, the company needed a scalable way to grow website traffic and generate qualified leads.
Varnish implemented the HubSpot Marketing Platform and adopted an inbound content strategy—creating landing pages, CTAs, targeted personas, workflows and using the HubSpot CRM to align sales and marketing. The approach drove strong results: website traffic rose about 80%, leads increased 58%, and customers grew 50%, while sales and marketing coordination improved.
