UK Leisurewear Retailer Launches New eCommerce Platform and Grows Sales 50% Year on Year

BushWear is the UK’s leading shooting sports clothing and accessories retailer, founded in 2004 and grown from a catalogue business into two stores and an online shop. The company’s online channel was merely an ordering mechanism that cannibalised catalogue sales rather than driving growth, so MD Alisdair Troup set out to build a true multi-channel eCommerce revenue engine and increase brand awareness and engagement.

BushWear implemented HubSpot’s COS integrated with Magento (with partner Groove), used HubSpot Academy, blogging, workflows, segmented and personalized email campaigns (including abandoned-cart and transactional nurturing), and tied sales data back into HubSpot. The result: sales grew 50% year‑over‑year, lead conversion rose to 55%, and online now contributes over 30% of total sales, positioning the business for further expansion.
