Mention is a French SaaS company that helps organizations monitor web and social mentions. After building a large self-serve user base, it wanted to move into enterprise sales—deals that require a sales conversation and range from €3,000–€40,000—so Head of Marketing Ben Twichell was tasked with creating a system to generate and nurture high-quality leads.
Mention implemented the HubSpot Marketing Platform in January 2016, using landing pages, forms, workflows, lead scoring and a Salesforce integration to align marketing and sales and personalize nurture. In five months the company generated 5,000 leads, achieved a 55% average landing-page conversion rate and roughly a 5% contact-to-customer conversion, while winning major clients and growing headcount from 9 to 40.
