TenantBase is a free online platform that helps startups and small businesses find and lease office space, supported by a dozen local commercial real estate Advisors across three markets. As the company grew, the offline lease-closing process and high lead volume exposed limitations in their previous CRM (Infusionsoft), making it hard for Advisors to stay organized and for managers to track deal progress and next actions.
TenantBase implemented HubSpot CRM, Marketing, and Sales to centralize onboarding, automate follow-ups, and give clear pipeline visibility. Using custom deal fields, a deals board, automated workflows (including API-driven contact creation), round-robin lead assignment, and Sequences, the team streamlined advisor assignments and follow-up, improved manager oversight of stages and next steps, and created tighter marketing–sales alignment—results the COO cites as making the business more organized and scalable.
