SmartWool needed a faster, more engaging way to educate and motivate retail sales associates, field service reps, and retailer partners so they could boost product knowledge, brand awareness and sell-through. To solve this, SmartWool partnered with HubEngage and leveraged HubEngage’s communications and engagement platform to build a mobile-native channel and program for store-level associates.
Using HubEngage, SmartWool launched the SmartWool Insider app — a rewards-driven, education-through-entertainment experience with videos, product insights, news, challenges, contests and two-way communications. The HubEngage-powered gamification and direct engagement strengthened relationships with wholesale partners, increased associate engagement and motivation, and helped drive brand awareness and sell-through through better-informed “Insiders.”
