Extended Stay America Hotels Launches hubEngage Powered MyESA Associate Engagement App

Extended Stay America, the largest integrated hotel owner/operator in North America, faced fragmented, print-based corporate communications with no way to verify timely consumption by its frontline workforce — a problem that risked disengagement and turnover among its 8,500+ associates across more than 620 hotels. To solve this, Extended Stay America partnered with HubEngage and deployed HubEngage’s employee communications and engagement platform to create the MyESA mobile app for associates.

Using HubEngage, Extended Stay America launched the MyESA app (along with kiosks and an information portal) to instantly share CEO messages, company initiatives, awards, career information and wellness content with over 8,500 associates at 620+ locations. The HubEngage-powered solution improved accessibility for non‑desk workers, increased cultural awareness and engagement, positioned associates as brand ambassadors, and helped the company attract and retain talent while advancing its “Work Here. Go Further.” mission.
