Association Management Resources trades time drains for efficiency gains

Association Management Resources (AMR), a 25-year association and event management firm that runs about 30 events a year—including conferences from 25 attendees up to over 10,000—faced major time drains from a decade-old form-based session manager: cumbersome speaker submissions, scattered graders, inefficient speaker email workflows, and slow, error-prone updates across multiple sites. After evaluating vendors at ASAE, AMR selected Hubb and its speaker-management tools to address these challenges.

Hubb implemented its platform—centered on a speaker portal, centralized content management, and abstract grading—to let speakers save and revise proposals, upload presentations, access checklists, and allow graders to work remotely. The result: AMR reduced tedious email tasks (previously emailing 200 speakers individually) to a single data-driven communication, minimized duplicate updates and errors across web/app/program channels, and achieved substantial time savings on grading and content coordination for large events such as the 9,000-attendee Michigan Music Association Conference.
