Bluefin, a national insurance broker with 1,400 employees across 49 UK offices, needed a better way to induct teams from acquisitions, share best practice, store information and drive staff to its intranet BITE within a heavily regulated, process-driven environment. To solve this, Bluefin partnered with Hub to rework BITE into a more social, user-focused platform.

Using the Hub, Bluefin rapidly reshaped BITE with bespoke home pages for acquired companies, video streaming, blogging and a central login for multiple systems. Hub’s solution improved onboarding, streamlined access and reduced confusion over system logins, boosted senior-management communications and drove active employee engagement — staff now regularly contribute content and share company news.
