TVTC Innovates eLearning with FusionAccess
Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), a major government vocational education provider in Saudi Arabia, needed to modernize its aging PC-based teaching environment. Outdated desktops, security risks, difficult centralized management, and the growing demand for HD video, distance learning, and online interaction were disrupting teaching across its many colleges and training centers. TVTC evaluated Huawei’s FusionAccess Desktop Cloud Solution to replace traditional PCs and better support its large-scale eLearning operation.
Huawei implemented FusionAccess Desktop Cloud Solution, including VDI infrastructure, cloud terminals, storage, servers, and unified management tools, across TVTC’s branch offices. The solution centralized data and desktop management, improved security, enabled remote courseware delivery and HD teaching, and boosted O&M efficiency by more than 10 times. Huawei’s deployment ultimately powered the world’s largest cloud-based educational desktop system for TVTC, covering 13,200 virtual machines.
