Case Study: China Network Television (CNTV) builds a scalable eLearning platform with Huawei

TV Network and Huawei Build eLearning System

China Network Television (CNTV), a national TV network with domestic and international reach, wanted to build a nationwide eLearning platform for 80 million learners. To do so, CNTV needed a system that could support a wide range of applications, ensure high reliability, and scale easily as usage grew. Huawei was selected to help provide the server infrastructure for the platform, including the Huawei RH2288 V2 rack server.

Huawei implemented a flexible, highly reliable, and expandable architecture based on Huawei RH2288 V2 servers, including configurations with large-capacity hard drives, ES3000 PCIe SSDs, and high-memory options for different workloads. The solution delivered better performance for content management and full-text retrieval, compatibility with the existing platform, and strong support for high concurrency and future growth. As a result, CNTV quickly launched its eLearning platform, creating a unified learning and communication service accessible nationwide.
