Londonderry Port, a rapidly growing deep-water port in Northern Ireland, faced rising demands on its IT infrastructure as business volumes and eCommerce transaction data surged. Huawei implemented the OceanStor S2600 storage system, a SAN platform designed for mid-range and low-end environments. The solution improved storage capacity, energy efficiency, and manageability, while supporting virtualization needs; it delivered up to 140 TB of effective storage with 2 TB drives and helped reduce annual O&M costs by up to 10%, giving Londonderry Port future-proof performance and capacity.
