Case Study: Ożarowice achieves modern broadband connectivity with Huawei LTE

A Huawei Case Study

Preview of the Ożarowice Case Study

Polish Town Benefits with LTE Broadband Network

Ożarowice, a small town in Poland with about 1,700 residents, faced very limited communications infrastructure, poor broadband coverage, and little interest from providers to expand into its remote, sparsely populated area. To close the gap between the local government and citizens, the town needed a wireless broadband solution that could be deployed quickly and cost-effectively. Huawei provided the LTE-based broadband technology used in the project, including its eLTE solution.

Huawei implemented an eLTE network for Ożarowice using 3.7 GHz TD-LTE support, lightweight equipment, and outdoor terminal devices to deliver broadband access, VoIP, and mobile video surveillance. The new network improved government collaboration, enabled stable Internet service for citizens, and supported better monitoring of utilities such as water, electricity, and coal. The project was recognized by the European Commission as a next-generation access network and demonstrated how Huawei’s LTE solution can reduce deployment complexity and support public-sector broadband expansion.
