Middle East’s First IPv6 Network for Secure CCTV

Tawazun, the UAE industrial investor, needed a highly secure, reliable network to support mission-critical CCTV and physical security systems while allowing for future expansion. To meet these requirements, Huawei was selected to help deploy a next-generation IPv6 network solution for Tawazun’s campus environment, using a Dual Stack approach to support both IPv4 and IPv6.

Huawei implemented the region’s first IPv6 network for secure CCTV in the UAE, working with Tawazun and channel partner Telelogix over a two-month deployment. The solution delivered unified security, automated surveillance management, high resilience through Cluster Switching Technology, and higher throughput with lower power consumption, enabling faster video viewing and retrieval, continuous data streaming, and a more stable IT infrastructure ready for future expansion.
