Mobilink, Pakistan’s leading cellular and Blackberry service provider, wanted to expand its video collaboration strategy beyond departmental use, but faced issues with legacy systems, interoperability, high bandwidth consumption, and rising travel costs. Huawei was selected to help address these challenges with a standard HD videoconferencing solution.

Huawei implemented an open-standard, SIP-based HD videoconferencing system using endpoints such as RP100, VP-9050, and RP200 to work with Mobilink’s existing infrastructure. The solution delivered secure video meetings with TLS and SRTP encryption, supported multiple display modes for meetings and training, preserved prior investments, and helped reduce travel costs and improve team connectivity across locations.
