Huawei’s Smart Modules for a Peaceful Zunyi

Zunyi’s Public Security Bureau in China wanted to modernize its public security IT infrastructure to support information-based policing, but its traditional data centers were inefficient, difficult to manage, and constrained by limited space. Working with Huawei, the bureau looked for a high-performance, scalable, and easy-to-manage public security cloud data center solution.

Huawei implemented its Modular Data Center (MDC) infrastructure, including modular UPS, cabinets, power distribution, air conditioning, and cabling, all centrally controlled as micro-modules. The result was a smart data center with PUE below 1.5, operating expense reductions of 30% versus traditional data centers, improved reliability and 24/7 availability, and faster, more flexible deployment.
