The Ankang section of the Xi'an Railways Bureau faced a paralyzed OA system due to outdated equipment and significant security vulnerabilities from PCs that could not be updated in a timely manner. To modernize its IT infrastructure from scratch, the section turned to Huawei for its FusionCloud Desktop Cloud Solution to replace conventional PCs and centralize management.

Huawei implemented a solution using its E6000 blade servers and OceanStor S5500T storage, virtualized by Fusion software. This provided a secure, centralized desktop environment, which drastically simplified IT management. The results for the railway section were a 70% reduction in power consumption, a tenfold improvement in operational efficiency, and enhanced security by preventing unauthorized data access through USB devices.
