Huawei Data Center Network Solution Assists Ikoula for Cloud Hosting Services

Ikoula, a French cloud hosting provider, needed to evolve its legacy data center network to support rapid growth, higher reliability, and simpler operations across multiple global points of presence. The company wanted a scalable network that could break through STP limitations, support higher bandwidth, and help it deliver managed services with up to a 99.999% SLA. Huawei provided its Data Center Network Solution to address these challenges.

Huawei deployed a data center network using NE routers and CloudEngine switches with 10 GE access and 100 GE interconnection, plus support for VXLAN and EVPN to enable a smooth path toward SDN. The new architecture improved scalability, reliability, and O&M efficiency, and after the upgrade Ikoula could deploy public cloud VMs in one-click mode within 30 seconds, significantly improving access performance and customer experience.
