Dongfeng Communications Technology Company Ltd., a subsidiary of Dongfeng Motors, needed a better way to connect its 20 subsidiaries’ disconnected networks, information systems, and office systems. This made remote access difficult for traveling staff, complicated maintenance, and created security risks from many PC-based OA users. Huawei addressed these issues with its FusionCloud Desktop Solution and cloud computing infrastructure.

Huawei deployed an integrated cloud data center to pilot a desktop cloud for service locations and call centers, giving users virtual desktops on low-cost terminals with centralized management. The result was improved O&M efficiency, faster IT response, and stronger security through centralized data storage and end-to-end protection. Huawei’s solution also became the starting point for Dongfeng Communications’ broader cloud strategy, with plans to expand cloud services across the organization.
