Hillarys, the UK’s leading supplier of window coverings and carpets, needed to modernize its core business systems as it expanded into a multi-channel retailer with a more complex supply chain. To support its digital transformation, the company chose to migrate its SAP environment to SAP HANA and needed a new in-memory hardware platform to replace its existing estate.

Huawei provided six virtualized SAP hardware appliances, including RH5885H V3 and RH8100 servers, to support Hillarys’ SAP HANA migration. The result was a major performance boost: customer call handling times were reduced by a third, an ERP report that once took 1 hour and 20 minutes now runs in under a minute, and Hillarys also praised Huawei for exceptional support, technical expertise, and responsiveness throughout the project.
