Guofu Guangqi Adopts Huawei’s Smart Module Infrastructure

Guofu Guangqi, a Shanghai-based software R&D company, set out to build CNMooc.house, a global online education mall and MOOC platform, but needed scalable, high-density, high-bandwidth data center infrastructure to support its education services and growing enterprise customers. To meet this challenge, the company selected Huawei’s power-saving Smart Module modular data center infrastructure for its new data center buildout.

Huawei implemented prefabricated Smart modules for the first phase of the project, deploying 43 modules in two months to support 602 IT cabinets. The solution reduced initial investment by at least 60%, cut power consumption by 4.2 million kWh annually, and saved up to USD 315,000 per year in electricity costs through improved PUE. Huawei’s modular approach also enabled faster deployment, easier installation, and intelligent monitoring across power, cooling, and security systems.
