Fusion CCC Improves Online Ticketing

Fusion Command and Control Center worked with Huawei to upgrade China Railway Corporation’s online ticketing platform as demand grew beyond the original Phase I system. The customer needed higher booking capacity, stronger security and reliability, better user experience, and improved operations management for mission-critical railway ticket services.

Huawei implemented a Fusion Command and Control Center (CCC) solution built on an active-active two–data center architecture, using FusionServer E9000 servers, CloudEngine data center switches, USG9500 firewalls, and OceanStor storage. The result was a major performance boost: ticket query processing rose from 300–400 queries per second to 26,000 per second, waiting time dropped from 15 seconds to 0.2 second, ingress traffic capacity increased from 4 Gbit/s to 10 Gbit/s, and the platform was enabled to sell up to 10 million online tickets per day with stronger disaster recovery and end-to-end security.
