French Financial Group BPCE Chooses Huawei for Digital Transformation

Groupe BPCE, France’s second largest banking group, needed to accelerate its digital transformation by renewing its branch network. As it expanded digital services such as cloud-based platforms, virtual teller machines, and high-performance Wi‑Fi, BPCE faced rising demands for scalability, security, redundancy, and simpler network deployment and management. Huawei was selected to support this modernization with an Agile Network approach.

Huawei implemented S5700-LI series access switches and the eSight network management system to deliver high-performance GE/10GE connectivity, PoE+ support for devices like APs and IP phones, and centralized network administration. The solution improved scalability with iStack, strengthened security with CPU-defense, port security, storm control, and authentication features, and reduced operating costs through energy-saving capabilities like AHM and EEE. With Huawei, BPCE successfully renewed its branch networks and advanced its digital transformation.
