Extranet Makes Government Work Better

Liaoning Provincial Government worked with Huawei to modernize its eGovernment extranet and support growing cross-departmental services across the province. The government needed a unified cloud platform to improve resource utilization, reduce energy consumption, scale for future demand, and eliminate information silos through shared population and legal entity databases.

Huawei implemented its end-to-end Cloud Data Center Solution, including RH series rack servers, an FCoE-capable network, and OceanStor DiskGuard for backup and disaster recovery. The solution enabled on-demand resource allocation, improved device utilization, lowered O&M and energy costs, and provided reliable data protection for the extranet, supporting about 200 applications and 138 access points.
