Dubai Iranian Hospital, a busy healthcare provider in Dubai with plans to expand from 128 to 348 beds, needed a future-ready campus network to support medical services, voice, CCTV, and other IT systems. The hospital’s key challenges were high reliability for multi-service operations, higher bandwidth for future growth, and unified management across a mixed network environment. Huawei was selected to provide the network foundation for the expansion.

Huawei implemented a 10G campus solution featuring S-series core and access switches, WLAN, a firewall, and the eSight unified network management system. The design used iStack in the access layer and CSS in the core layer for resilience, plus 10GE uplinks to support future bandwidth needs. As a result, Dubai Iranian Hospital gained a highly reliable network with no significant downtime since installation, along with easier centralized management and reduced maintenance costs.
