Shanghai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau needed a more secure and efficient social security system to protect sensitive resident data and support high availability. Huawei built a disaster recovery center using OceanStor N8000 with a unified SAN/NAS architecture to centralize structured and unstructured data, improve redundancy, and enable active/active failover. The solution increased service continuity and stability, reduced O&M costs through unified storage and management, and improved small-file performance, with NFS throughput reaching 3.06 million OPS for faster service processing.
