Culture Sharing Project Uses Huawei Servers

The Chinese Ministry of Culture needed to support its national cultural sharing project across one national center and 33 provincial branches, but its long procurement history had created a complex, multi-vendor environment that was difficult to maintain. The ministry also needed a stronger computing platform for data analysis and fast query response, with higher performance, I/O, and reliability. Huawei was brought in to help modernize the infrastructure with its data center solutions and RH5885 V2 servers.

Huawei implemented a future-proof data center solution using RH5885 V2 servers, along with consulting for disaster recovery and overall construction to simplify operations and maintenance. The new platform delivered better performance and reliability, including 770,000 IOPS and 2,700 TPS with sub-10-microsecond write latency, while improving resource utilization by 30 percent and response time by 40 percent compared with the previous system.
