China Everbright Bank Chooses Huawei FusionCube

China Everbright Bank, a major Chinese financial institution, needed to build a new bank-wide resource pool to support its private cloud strategy, with goals of full service coverage, full provisioning and configuration coverage, and mobility across internal resources. To meet these challenges, the bank selected Huawei and its FusionCube 6000 hyper-converged infrastructure, along with FusionSphere virtualization software.

Huawei implemented a two-level resource pool architecture with centralized cloud management for headquarters and branches, enabling differentiated deployment, unified management, and migration of branch production and transaction applications to the HQ resource pool. The solution improved performance and reliability through distributed storage and cross-node backup, reduced the need for branch IT staff, and cut total cost of ownership by 35% or more.
